Once you've done the "Boiling Lake" hike, and if you feel like raising the stakes a little bit, try hiking to Dominica's highest peak at 4,747 feet, Morne Diablotin, or "Devils Mountain". This is the mother of all hikes on the island. The path itself is quite steep, and due to its elevation can be quite damp and foggy at times. However, the views and natural scenery that comes with this hike make it a great addition to your "ultimate" adventure vacation portfolio. Average hike time: 8 hours round trip.
